We’re the crew that shows up in Leander, Cedar Park, and Liberty Hill when your attic reads 140 degrees in July or your crawl space smells like a pond after a Hill Country gully-washer. Every one of us started somewhere else - another insulation outfit, a framing crew, an HVAC shop - and we ended up here because Wes Okafor doesn’t hire people who want to blow product and leave. We hire people who want to measure something, fix it, and prove the number changed.

Wes Okafor, Owner
I started this location in 2016 after six years as a lead installer for a Houston outfit that measured success by bags blown per hour. I measure it by CFM50 reduction and whether the homeowner can read their paperwork without a translator. I’m BPI Building Analyst certified and I still carry a blower door to every initial assessment in Leander, because the number you start with determines whether the solution you sell is real or theater. I live in Cedar Park with my wife and two kids, and I spend too much money on smoked brisket from a place off 183 that doesn’t need its name in this bio.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2019, which in insulation years makes him a veteran of three Texas housing booms and one catastrophic freeze. He’s OSHA 30 certified and specializes in spray foam applications - open-cell and closed-cell - which means he spends a lot of time in respirators and full PPE in 120-degree attics and doesn’t complain about it. Before Topside, he ran a commercial roofing crew in Killeen, so he’s comfortable on pitches that would send most residential guys back to the truck. He restores vintage motorcycles in his garage in Leander and will talk about carburetor tuning for as long as you let him.
Daniela R., Senior Installer
Daniela came over from a Weatherford insulation company in 2021, bringing expertise in blown-in fiberglass and cellulose density that most installers never study past “fill to grade.” She’s the one who catches top plates that weren’t sealed, recessed can lights still venting into attics, and bathroom fans dumping moisture into insulation - the kind of defects that show up as mold six months later. She’s certified in Owens Corning AttiCat installation and has a particular skill for retrofit wall insulation through exterior drilling without destroying siding. She lives in Liberty Hill and coaches a U-14 girls’ soccer team that, she notes, communicates better than most job site crews she’s worked with.
James K., Service Coordinator
James answers the phone when you call (737) 252-7159, and he’s the one who makes sure Wes actually has the blower door and Marcus has the right foam rig and Daniela knows which Leander neighborhood has the HOA that fines you for parking a work trailer overnight. He’s been with us since 2020, previously dispatching for an HVAC company in Round Rock, so he understands that “sometime Tuesday” is not a schedule. He writes every scope document and price sheet that leaves our office - Haven Standard Clause 1, flat price, written warranty, no exceptions. He has a two-year-old who wakes up at 5:30 AM regardless of daylight saving time, which he says prepared him perfectly for on-call coordination.
Eli V., Apprentice Installer
Eli joined us in 2024 after completing the construction trades program at Leander High School. He’s learning air sealing first - caulking, foam, gasket work - because we don’t let anyone touch insulation until they can make a building envelope actually hold pressure. He’s already competent with blower-door setup and can identify the twelve most common bypass locations in a typical Texas attic without a checklist. He drives a 2008 F-150 with 287,000 miles that he maintains himself. His current project is convincing Marcus that electric motorcycles are worth discussing.
